ABOUT OUR SENIORS

Review of 2023 Season

The Senior Section at Accrington Golf Club is very active and if you are 55 or over, we would love you to join us. Let us know, by putting your name on the list of Seniors wishing to take part in our activities. This is located on the Seniors Notice Board in the Gents changing rooms. 2023 was a good year for Competition, although the 'excellent' weather did interupt parts of the season and the Competitions. Please find our roll of honour below. In 2024 we will be playing only 7 friendlies, in an attempt to produce full teams! These matches will be played on a home and away basis. These are all friendly matches and the clubs we will be playing, will be mostly our near neighbours. This is indeed a civilised method of playing golf, with friendly 4 balls ( 5 pairs per team & 6 pairs when we can), followed by a drink, good food and all for a relatively low cost.
