After a high quality match the Champion of East Lancashire is Chris Nuttall of Accrington Golf Club, winning the match over Michael Barton of Wilpshire Golf Club by a margin of 2 & 1. 

I spoke to Chris earlier and he asked me to send out this message on his behalf.

"I’d just like to thank every single person that messaged, called and took the time to come and support me over the last 3 days, it’s truly overwhelming and I honestly appreciate it all.

I’d like to dedicate my win to Barbara Yates and Mick Hardman, two very special people we have sadly lost in the last couple weeks, who played a massive part in my life growing up at A&DGC.
