Junior Prize Presentation 2012
Welcome to our Junior Section. We have an excellent set of junior golfers, a number of whom play off single figure handicaps. New junior members are always welcome and can be assured they would be joining a competitive but friendly group.The Club is commited to the development of golf for all ages. Despite a terrible summer the juniors have enjoyed their golf this year. The junior Captains Day was a particular success.

Are we the best dressed junior team in East Lancashire ????? The Lady Captain Mrs Terena Fleck very kindly bought our blazers
so we can compete on and off the fairway. We were very excited on the blazers "first outing" at Pleasington although there was an uncanny resemblence to the sopranos!!!!
Dom Kadic, our Junior Captain has had a tremendous year. A true ambassador for the Club and winner of the ELGA Junior Tour 2012. This is a new initiative to encourage junior golf in east lancashire and we are very proud that Dom is the first winner. The Presentation Evening will be at Accrington GC on Friday 7th December commencing at 7.30pm.
The Club has now not only gained Golf Mark and Club Mark accreditation, it has been awarded High Achiever Status, an indication of the Club's commitment to the coaching and safeguarding of chidren. Well done to all concerned.
